this thread is a hopefully helpful resource for any medicine cats or otherwise healer cats! much of this list has been referenced off of the original Warriors field guide or the books themselves; however, there are also many herbs which i have found through my own research as well, and as such there are separate sections for either classification (my own research or canon information.)
medicine cats between the Clans may often trade for herbs that the other Clan has and they don't.

CANON HERBS & WHAT THEY REMEDY
Elder leaf poultice - back pain and sprains. (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory.)
Alder bark - toothache. (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory.)
Blackberry leaves - bee stings. (Found in: every territory [in Twoleg gardens in the city.])
Borage leaves - fevers; also for nursing queens (provides more milk.) (Found in: mostly TreeClan territory, but rarely in the woodland.)
Burdock root - rat bites and infection. (Found in: RockClan and city territory. Dry soil only.)
Catmint - whitecough and greencough. (Found in: the city and TreeClan's Ivy Cabin.)
Celandine - eye injuries & pain. (Found in: RockClan and TreeClan territory.)
Chamomile - shock or grief; has a calming effect. (Found in: the city and TreeClan's Ivy Cabin.)
Chervil leaves - bellyache. (Found in: RockClan territory, only around the Claw Stone.)
Chervil root - infections, both to prevent and treat them. (Found in: RockClan territory, only around the Claw Stone.)
Chickweed - the best remedy for greencough. (Found in: RockClan territory, anywhere where there are a lot of boulders.)
Coltsfoot - trouble breathing, wheezing, coughing (whitecough), shortness of breath. (Found in: RockClan territory, beside the river; also grows by the lake.)
Comfrey - broken bones, wrenched claws, itching. (Found in: TreeClan's Marshy Woods, and RockClan territory near the river.)
Daisy leaves - aching joints & other general aches and pains. (Found in: every territory.)
Dandelion leaves - pain, grief & shock, bee stings. (Found in: every territory, but most prevalent in the woodland and the city.)
Dock leaves - nettle stings, sore paws, minor scratches. (Found in: the woodland, and sometimes in the outskirts of TreeClan territory.)
Feverfew - fever and headaches. (Found in: TreeClan and RockClan territory, beside the river. Also grows by the lake.)
Goldenrod - injuries and scratches, to prevent infection and help close wounds. (Found in: RockClan and neutral territory, only on moorland.)
Horsetail - injuries, to prevent and treat infection. (Found in: RockClan territory, beside the river, and in TreeClan's marshy woods. Also grows by the lake.)
Juniper berries - bellyache, shortness of breath, chest pains, general weakness. (Found in: woodland territory, and the neutral moorland.)
Honeycomb - sore throat, can be used to help stick poultices or wraps to an injury. (Found in: woodland and TreeClan territory, though difficult to get.)
Lavender - coughs, fevers, shock & grief. (Found in: any Twoleg garden, including TreeClan's Ivy Cabin.)
Mallow - bellyache, severe infection, bee & wasp stings. (Found in: any territory beside freshwater; grows prevalently in both TreeClan and RockClan's camps, and by the lake.)
Nettle leaves - swelling and infection in a wound. (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory, but grows best in the woodland.)
Nettle seeds - counter the effects of a mild poison. (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory, but grows best in the woodland.)
Oak leaves - stops major bleeding of a wound, and prevents infection. (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory, as well as rarely in RockClan territory, as their few trees are oaks.)
Parsley - bellyache, stops milk production. (Found in: RockClan territory, by the sunniest spots near the river.)
Poppy seeds - pain, difficulty sleeping (take in moderation!) (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory, and in many Twoleg gardens.)
Ragwort leaves - aching joints, weakness. (Found in: any territory.)
Raspberry leaves - for difficult, painful kittings. (Found in: RockClan territory.)
Snake root - counter the effects of a poison. (Found in: RockClan territory and the city; grows in warm, sunny areas.)
Tansy - coughs, minor wounds. (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory, and in many Twoleg gardens.)
Tormentil - counter the effects of a poison; also works to treat infected wounds. (Found in: woodland territory, the mountains, and some Twoleg gardens.)
Traveling herbs (daisy, sorrel, burnet, chamomile) - strength for a journey.
Watermint - bellyache. (Found in: any territory in shallow water or marshy areas.)
Yarrow - poison (induces vomiting.) (Found in: RockClan territory and the city.)
Wild garlic - infection (preventative), rat bites. (Found in: TreeClan territory.)
Bindweed - fastens sticks to broken limbs to hold in place. (Found in: any territory.)
Broom - poultice for broken limbs (do not use on expecting queens; inhaling the scent for long enough can induce early kitting.) (Found in: RockClan territory, TreeClan territory, and the woodland.)
Catchweed - to help keep a poultice on. (Found in: any territory.)
Fennel - pain in hips (mostly during kitting.) (Found in: anywhere beside the river.)

Sweet-sedge - infection. (Found in: RockClan territory near the river, and by the lake.)

NON-CANON HERBS & WHAT THEY REMEDY
Alfalfa - loss of appetite, weakness. (Found in: RockClan's territory and the moorland.)
Clove - toothache, severe cold (has an extreme warming effect when ingested.) (Found in: woodland territory, very rare in TreeClan territory and found only in a particular spot in RockClan's moorland.)
Echinacea (purple cornflower) - weak immune system, mild colds and illnesses. (Found in: TreeClan and RockClan territory, rarely in the woodland.)
Evening primrose - acts as a sedative. (Found in: TreeClan territory.)
Geranium - pain (numbing effect when applied to the area.) (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory.)
Ginseng - weakness. (Found in: woodland territory, and in some Twoleg gardens.)
Hyssop - sore throat. (Found in: woodland territory and the mountains.)
Nettle juice - helps with the production of milk. (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory, but grows best in the woodland.)
Rosemary - bruises, falls, sprains, antiseptic for wounds, mild coughs, dementia. (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory.)
Sage - dementia, sore throat, asthma; also acts as a very mild sedative (do not ingest, only chew for sore throat symptoms.) (Found in: Twoleg gardens.)
Valerian (setwell) - insomnia & anxiety (have the cat chew the root and swallow the juices, but not the root itself.) (Found in: TreeClan territory.)
Wormwood - externally applied during labor to speed up and aid, can be taken for loss of appetite and as a mild sedative (though notoriously very bitter.) (Found in: RockClan territory.)
Agrimony (sticklewort) - sore throat, poultice for weary paws and paw pads, mild fever. (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory.)
Wolfsbane - externally applied as the best remedy for severely aching joints; poultice must be made carefully, not by using the mouth, because it is an EXTREMELY deadly poison when it is ingested, more deadly than deathberries. Cats treated with this must wash themselves carefully in running water once the effects have set in. (Found in: any territory.)
Hazelwort - pained, injured, or weak eyes, applied as a poultice; induces vomiting if ingested. (Found in: TreeClan and woodland territory, but most prevalently in Twoleg gardens.)
Bennet - upset stomach, bad prey illness. (Found in: the woodland, and in shady areas in RockClan territory.)
Balm (lemon balm) - shock & grief, insomnia, anxiety. Can be crushed for tick loosening. (Found in: any territory.)
Blueberries (known to cats as dewberries) - anxiety, shock & grief, weakness. (Found in: RockClan and TreeClan territory, and the woodland.)
