The Lake

further down the river, past the boundaries of Clan territory to the south, the stream empties out into a small lake, nested snugly in between the more mountainous territories on one side of it and the hills on the other, leading further into Twoleg land. this lake is close enough to both city cat territory and to the rogues' woodlands that either group might find themselves coming here from time to time, though it is much more of a journey for rogue cats, who have to travel either through TreeClan's forests to get there or through the more mountainous area to the west. during the full moon, however, both city cats and rogues are granted permission to travel through the Clans' territories to reach this lake - as the Clan cats meet on the shore every moon to share their news at Gatherings, and the warrior code allows for any non-Clan cats to attend these as well if they so wish. on account of TreeClan's aversion to both water and Twolegs, these meetings take place on TreeClan's side of the river, within the mountainous terra just below their borders and far away from Twoleg lands. every half moon, medicine cats also come here to drink from the lake and share tongues with their StarClan ancestors.

The Mountains

south of the dense forests that most rogue cats call home, and to the west of the Clan's sacred lake, the territory becomes more mountainous. the steep cliffs and treacherous mountain paths mean that cats do not often come here, though prey is said to be quite plentiful among the crevices in the stone, with mice, shrews, and adders making their homes here. still, the general lack of resources or any real shelter means that Clan cats at least do not travel here often, save for in the very rare cases that a hunting party might be sent here when prey is especially scarce. occasionally, loner cats have been known to make their homes here, though usually not for very long. the rogue cats' legends say that when one is to scale to the top of these mountains at night, the voices of cats long since gone can be heard from the sky, and some cats might visit here from time to time to try and catch the whispers of their lost loved ones.

The Moor

to the east of the lake, and south of RockClan territory, city cat land gives way to the neutral moorland belonging to no cat, despite its closeness to Twoleg lands. these hills are simply too far from where most of the more territorial city cats reside for them to stake a claim on, and the kittypets that live nearby certainly don't have any reason to want to claim the land. there can be prey found here from time to time, and cats have been known to visit occasionally in hopes of catching some - but Twolegs also come here at times at well, sometimes bringing dogs with them on long, bright tendrils. the shore around the water is much more pleasant to lie on than the rougher rocks around the Clans' river, and cats sometimes like to come here to lounge about in the shore in greenleaf.

these lands belong to no specific group, and are often frequented by cats from many backgrounds. usually, hostilities are uncommon in these parts of the territories, as it is generally agreed that the land is neutral and there is not typically any need for conflict.
